第四屆亞洲醫學史學會：「跨越階級與族群的醫療史」研討會

亞洲醫學史學會（The Asian Society for the History of Medicine, ASHM）將於2008年11月4日至11月6日假雲南麗江舉辦研討會。本屆研討會由中國科學院自然科學史研究所和學會共同主辦，主題為「跨越階級與族群的醫療史」，歡迎學者投稿，討論各個歷史時期不同文化中的醫療史課題，唯希望能著重於醫療知識與實作中的越界現象。 

有意提報論文者請於2008年1月31日前將500字之中文摘要和1000字之英文摘要寄交中國科學院自然科學史研究所。主辦單位將於2008年3月31日以前通知結果，獲得採用者務請於2008年9月30日之前繳交完整之論文，以便主辦單位申請經費補助及大會行政作業事宜。會議論文以中文或英文撰寫為原則，非英文之文稿請附上1000字之英文摘要。 

本次會議不需註冊費，但亦不提供交通與食宿費用。但主辦單位之熱情招待和麗江的美景將令各位與會學者賓至如歸，敬請期待。如有任何問題，請與主辦單位之彭冬玲女士聯絡。

Medical History: Crossing the Social and Ethnical Boundaries

     4-6 November, 2008, Yunnan, CHINA

The conference proposes to understand medical history with an emphasis on boundaries crossing. Scholars are invited to present their papers on any issue of medical history in any historical times, but with focuses on practices and knowledge that either interact, go beyond or even break the social and ethnical categorizations.
